SILICONCORE SHOWCASES 25 MILLION PIXELS AT ISE 2015
From the 10th – 12th, February Common Cathode LED display manufacturer SiliconCore Technology will be lighting up the RAI in Amsterdam with displays across three different booths featuring a total of 25 million pixels.
Display innovations include the Lavender 1.2mm, the world’s highest resolution LED display, a curved Magnolia 1.50mm display and the world launch of the Orchid Outdoor 1.9mm display. SiliconCore screens also feature as the product of choice for two industry renowned companies as flagship displays in their booths.
The most ground breaking developments will be found in SiliconCore booth 10-K110, including the first curved Magnolia 1.50mm LED solution. The 6m x 1.6m approx. display has a 40.4o curve and offers a highly immersive close proximity viewing experience, as a person’s peripheral vision can be completely immersed, ideal for visualisation and simulation projects.
The stand will also feature the Lavender 1.2mm display as an interactive solution through collaboration with multitouch specialists U-Touch. Broadcast versions of the Magnolia 1.50mm and Orchid 1.95mm display will demonstrate the company’s anti-moiré technology, with attendees able to get a true sense of the power of this solution by using the specially provided camera to view the screen from different angles.
SiliconCore has also worked with Crestron and Mode-Al to deliver striking centre piece displays on their booths. Having been the first LED wall manufacturer to be certified as a 4K supplier by Crestron in 2014, SiliconCore will be helping the industry giant to deliver its 4K/60 message with two 5.76m x 3.24m 4K Magnolia displays in its booth. Meanwhile, Mode-Al has also joined forces with SiliconCore to deliver its messaging on a 2.5m x 1.5m Orchid 1.95mm wall.
Eric Li, President and CEO of SiliconCore commented:
“We have made some incredible developments over the last year which are taking the industry by storm and are delighted to be bringing these to the European market at ISE 2015. Our innovative anti-moiré filter makes LED displays more accessible to the broadcasting industry, providing studios with new levels of freedom and creativity.
“ISE 2015 is the perfect opportunity for those thinking about investing in a high resolution displays in verticals such as corporate, broadcast, command and control or retail to come along and see our range of solutions. We have a display solution suitable for virtually any environment and we will be delighted to demonstrate the benefits of our patented Common Cathode-driven LED screens on our booth.”
SiliconCore has made higher resolution LED displays possible by developing a new way to drive the LEDs using Common Cathode Technology, replacing the traditional Common Anode approach. This technology has now been applied to outdoor screens, pioneering a 1.9mm close-proximity outdoor solution which can also be seen at ISE.
The Common Cathode Technology design is a much more efficient at generating a given brightness for a given amount of power, ensuring that less power is wasted as heat, reducing power consumption and increasing the lifespan of the display. This results in market leading total cost of ownership.
Visitors can see all of these impressive displays on booth 10-K110 at the RAI in Amsterdam.
