SILICONCORE SHORTLISTED FOR TWO AV AWARDS 2014

We are delighted to be recognized by the AV industry for our work in the last year with two nominations in the AV Awards 2014, which take place on 26th September at The Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London.

We are thrilled to be finalists in the Environmental category which acknowledges the green credentials of our Common Cathode technology. A much more efficient way to drive LEDs, Common Cathode technology uses separate power supplies for the Red, Green and Blue diodes, eliminating the need for a resistor and ensuring power is not lost to heat. The solution reduces power consumption and heat dissipation, resulting in the greenest LED technology ever made available. Our screens, however, retain the advantages of high brightness, high contrast ratio and wide viewing angles, therefore challenging the thought that these displays are power hungry and inefficient.

Our Orchid P1.9 display is also up for the accolade of Display Product of the Year with its outstanding quality, improved reliability and increased life span. When it was launched, our 1.9mm LED screen was the highest resolution to ever reach the market and has been installed at key clients in the broadcast, retail and corporate industries.
