SILICONCORE'S NRK BROADCAST STUDIO INSTALLATION WINS BROADCAST/MEDIA PROJECT OF THE YEAR AWARD AT THE AV AWARDS

Our project alongside integrator Display Systems for Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK) to create a captivating backdrop with enhanced creativity options has won the accolade of Broadcast / Media Project of the Year at the AV awards, which took place on the 25th September at Grosvenor House in London.

This is the 17th annual AV awards and remains one of the most highly-regarded industry events of the calendar. Hosted by AV Magazine, more than 900 AV industry professionals gathered to see who would win the 25 noteworthy awards.

Working alongside Display Systems we created the world’s first high resolution LED wall with Anti Moiré Filter for the Norwegian public service broadcaster. This was part of a bespoke studio redesign where they wanted to achieve more creative and flexible backdrop designs, so needed moiré patterns to be completely eliminated during camera zooms, studio pans and off axis shots.

Steve Scorse, VP for EMEA at SiliconCore explained:
“To create this winning solution we worked in tandem with integrator Display Systems for over a year. This process of innovation and continuous development successfully led to taking the benefits of LED into this new marketplace.”
