SILICONCORE SHORTLISTED AT THE AV AWARDS 2019

One of our most challenging projects to date is a finalist at the AV Awards 2019, which will be held in London on October 11.

Recognised by the prestigious award ceremony, which has been celebrating the very best of the AV industry for the past 20 years, the one-of-a-kind project for Zermatt Bergbahnen has been shortlisted in the Leisure and Hospitality Project of the Year category.

Working with the extremely talented team at Richnerstutz AG, the project involved integrating five 1.9mm pixel pitch LED displays into the Swiss mountain resort of Zermatt. The team worked under intense pressure to complete the project in extreme weather conditions and at altitudes up to 3000m.

Requiring complex logistics to reach the highest peak, each display measures 3.4m x 2.4m and is encased in a custom steel enclosure from Vangenhassend GmbH.
