CAMELLIA 0.95MM AWARDED THIRD BEST OF SHOW ACCOLADE

SiliconCore’s smallest LED pixel pitch display to date, the Camellia 0.95mm, has been awarded its third esteemed Best of Show accolade, this time at NAB 2016 by Sound and Video Contractor.
This was the debut of this ultra fine pixel pitch LED display to the broadcast industry and the first time it had been showcased in 4K resolution, achieved at just 165” diagonal and boasting a minimum viewing distance of less than one meter. The display features superb contrast ratio and gray scale qualities, with the ability to achieve 1700 Nits in brightness and no compromise in performance thanks to SiliconCore’s patented driver chip.

This advancement in pixel pitch was made possible by SiliconCore’s unique Common Cathode technology which reduces the heat output of displays, thereby removing the need for additional cooling, extending the lifespan beyond 100,000 hours and resulting in lower power consumption for industry leading total cost of ownership.

Eric Li, President and CEO of SiliconCore, explains:

“The 0.95mm has been developed with broadcast applications in mind with the ultra fine pixel pitch helping studio designers to expand their on camera creative possibilities by allowing a larger portion of the backdrop to be digitised.”
