1.9mm XR LED Display receives CGW Silver Edge Award

Our 1.9mm XR LED Display has been recognised by CGW for its technical innovation, receiving a coveted Silver Edge Award. Designed for virtual production, the 1.9mm XR Display features our proprietary technologies to ensure superior performance, including frame rates of 240Hz and increased durability to create the highest resolution LED floors currently available. 

CGW is a publication that has been exclusively serving the computer graphics industry for over 40 years. Each year, CGW’s editorial team selects the most innovative new products and technologies on display at NAB show to be awarded with a Silver Edge Award.

The 1.9mm XR LED Display was showcased at NAB as an immersive LED Volume featuring a 16.4’ x 8.2’ wall and adjoining floor. Immersive content created by Vu Productions portrayed multiple immersive scenes, with a relay screen so visitors could see themselves in the virtual space.

SiliconCore’s patented Common Cathode driver chip maximizes the efficiency and performance of each pixel to enable high frame rates of 240Hz and a refresh rate of 7680Hz for defined image reproduction with less motion blur, ideal for slow-motion cinematography and building active 3D environments. 

The high brightness, high contrast, 160-degree viewing angle, coupled with cool operating temperatures, lead to a longer lifespan for optimal ROI in production environments where operating cost is crucial.
