THE EXPERIENCE
Nvidia, a technology company making waves in AI and deep learning, uses our 1.5mm LED display as part of a hyper-realistic driving simulator. Designed to showcase the latest innovations in automotive tech from Nvidia, the experience is set to change the shape of the automobile world in the not too distant future.
Designed to replicate the feeling of driving, the LED display creates an outstanding visual backdrop to immerse the driver into the environment from behind the windscreen. The car is fitted with a range of cameras and sensors which detect and analyse the immediate environment, including monitoring the digital content which portrays a busy road ahead of a car in motion.
BEHIND THE SCENES
Due to the use of fast moving content, Nvidia required a screen with high refresh rates to avoid tearing or ghosting within the digital graphics. Thanks to 144Hz clock speeds embedded within SiliconCore’s driver chips, the 1.5mm LED display has no difficulty contending with the speed of the graphics.
Our proprietary Z.A.C.H HDR driver chip features within the display, enhancing the colors and contrast ratio designed to maintain lifelike realism. Especially in areas of low brightness, the driver is provided with a lifelike and memorable simulative experience.
The scalability of LED means the screen is seamless, bezel-free and thanks to Common Cathode, the screens operation is cool and quiet, maintaining a completely uninterrupted experience for the user.
