SILICONCORE LAUNCHES FRONT SERVICE ACCESS FOR ULTRA FINE PIXEL PITCH DISPLAY

LED display manufacturer SiliconCore is the first to achieve front service access on ultra fine pixel pitch displays as low as 1.2mm, with its new mounting solution.

The new FSA solution reduces the total depth and weight of the unit, and can achieve a total depth of less than 200mm (or 8”), from the customer’s wall to the front surface of the LED cabinets. This further advances the application possibilities of LED displays as screens can be placed in tight spaces, optimizing floor area usage.

A magnetic attachment method allows for maintenance to be conducted on any tile without the need to remove the surrounding tiles, even on a live screen. Truly seamless, scalable and immersive displays can be created of any size or shape, including curved formations with extended viewing angles.

Steve Scorse, VP of EMEA for SiliconCore explains:

“Our revolutionary Common Cathode technology was crucial in enabling this development. By
improving the relationship between power and heat, SiliconCore has developed an LED display that
runs cool, negating the need for any forced cooling, allowing displays to be installed in confined
environments. This increases the lifetime of the display beyond 100,000 hours and results in energy
savings of up to 40% for industry leading total cost of ownership.”
