Baltimore, USA

Fortune 100 energy company Exelon Corporation unveiled their new $160million Baltimore HQ, Exelon Tower. The 21 story building comes equipped with its own trading floor, for Exelon employees plus 650 energy traders, which now focuses around two 50’ x 7’ P1.9FSA displays, as well as another 20’ x 4.5’ display in the HQ lobby.

The displays were hung high above the trading floor for optimum visibility, on a bespoke frame solution by rp Visual Solutions. After two years of lengthy evaluation, our P1.9FSA was specified as the only option for its ability to display a wide range of complex content, including real time TV and data feeds. The display’s front serviceability means maintenance causes as little disruption as possible. Engineers can work on any tile without affecting content on surrounding tiles, even on live screens.

The brief was to consume as little energy as possible, to support the 12 hour working days of a busy trading space. Our patented Common Cathode technology offers extremely low power dissipation, causing minimal degradation and a lifespan beyond 100,000 hours.
