SILICONCORE TO EXHIBIT AT NAB 2014

SiliconCore will launch its revolutionary Common Cathode driven LED display to the broadcast world at NAB Show on booth SL14209 from the 7th – 10th April, taking place at the Las Vegas Convention Center, we will be showcasing the Magnolia P1.5mm, a revolutionary high resolution LED display, perfect for broadcast applications.

Whilst some might think an LED display product is an unconventional new entry into the broadcast realm, SiliconCore has re-written the rules of this technology with the very tight pixel pitch, resulting in the elimination of Moiré effects and specialized circuitry that eliminates ghosting.

Eric Li, CEO of SiliconCore explains:

“SiliconCore has revolutionised the LED display industry by developing a new way to drive the LEDs using the Common Cathode mode, which is a much more efficient design than in previous products. Our displays offer brilliant resolutions, super fast refresh rate of over 2,000 Hz and viewing angles that enable them to perform even with extreme off axis camera shots. This makes them perfect for broadcast applications. It also ensures that power is not lost to heat, thereby reducing power consumption and increasing the lifespan of the display, resulting in a market leading lower total cost of ownership.”

SiliconCore LED displays are popular for TV broadcast studio applications such as backdrops and live correspondence screens. The displays also have a very wide viewing angle of over 160°, ensuring off-axis camera viewing around the studio with no colour distortion. The total brightness, contrast, colour saturation and temperature settings ensure the overall clarity of the display is perfect for the harsh studio environment.
