SILICONCORE SELECTED FOR INNOVATION IN OOREDOO LOBBY AND EVENT SPACES

We worked with system integrator, Technomight, to install three of our Magnolia 1.5mm LED displays in the lobby and events area of international telecommunications company, Ooredoo, as part of its ongoing innovation program.

The brief was to invest in future proofed technology, which can be supplemented with additional cabinets and have a upgradable 4K system. All three screens feature full HD resolution; two side by side as a design statement to host customized marketing content and one 130” LED display in the events area for product launches and open days. Content can be shared across the three walls or separately via a long-distance 4K signal distribution system which suits the space being used in a variety of ways.

Our displays are connected to Ooredoo’s broadcast system with digital signage feeds are distributed via an RGBLink multi-window video processor. Four Winds interactive software makes it possible to showcase multiple pictures and live feeds controllable from the central Crestron touch screen.

The broadcast system is also connected to Ooredoo Family TV networking so that transmission can be picked up by other branches throughout Qatar when needed.

For ongoing system operation Technomight provides training for the team at Ooredoo, including managing the system during events and co-ordinating announcements across its digital signage network.  This brings the amount of SiliconCore LED screens integrated by Technomight at Ooredoo to six for a total of 42 sq meters of vivid imagery.
