LISA PICKS UP TWO BEST OF SHOW AWARDS AT ISE 2017

The brand new SiliconCore technology platform LISA was showcased for the first time at ISE 2017, with a huge buzz around the stand and thousands of attendees visiting to investigate our revolutionary new manufacturing process.

In testament to this we won not one but TWO Best of Show Awards with industry leading publications AV Technology and Installation. Judged by industry experts and released at the exhibition, these accolades celebrate the most innovative new platforms and products launched at the event.

LISA (LED In Silicon Array) rewrites the rules of LED with a radical departure of how LED displays are manufactured. The launch makes SiliconCore the first LED display creator to successfully implement Chip On Board (COB) manufacturing at this scale.

SiliconCore COO, Eric Penot commented;

“This is a great start for LISA as a new manufacturing process which will soon form the backbone of not only the SiliconCore range but for the future of LED. We will be able to achieve robust, bright and high resolution displays with more stability and better color gamut than other displays on the market. The introduction of this technology will begin in the summer with products available in multiple resolutions in 2018.”

LISA is the most disruptive technology in the LED display marketplace for decades, representing a departure from the usual SMD manufacturing process. The individual Light Emitting Dies are directly bonded to the PCB’s, removing the use of traditional Surface Mount Diodes (SMDs) on the board to make the module mechanically more robust and rigid, increasing its durability.
