The Grand Hyatt Tokyo unveiled its renovated event venue hire spaces with a focus on unifying the second floor residential design with the third floor’s banquet rooms. The result is a stylish and relaxing space that combines innovative design with five of our LED displays.
Architect Naoyoshi Taniyama from renowned international design firm Nao Taniyama & Associates redesigned the area, having previously worked on the hotel’s Residence Anise and Residence Basil event spaces in 2014. The displays are designed to complement the interior design of the rooms and feature no hard casing so they are recessed into the walls as part of the design of the space.
Two Orchid 1.9mm LED video walls create a striking first impression in the Banquet Room at 192” each, scaled perfectly for the space with no seams due to the nature of LED. The design features the new Front Service Access (FSA) panels, which reduce the depth behind the display to just 200mm, increasing the functional floor space and simplifying maintenance and servicing. The Grand Ballroom features three Peony 2.6mm LED displays in an L-shape around the room giving excellent viewing for product launches, awards and conferences.
All the displays include our Common Cathode technology, which reduces the heat output thereby removing the need for additional cooling and providing silent operation. Less heat extends the lifespan beyond 100,000 hours and results in lower power consumption for daily operation and industry leading total cost of ownership.
