THE EXPERIENCE

Installed in the FIA Formula E Team NextEV NIO pit garages during its worldwide tour between Hong Kong and Montreal, a 92” 2.6mm LED display supported the driving team with mission critical race information.

BEHIND THE SCENES

The team joined the FIA Formula E Team NextEV NIO on a worldwide tour between Hong Kong and Montreal to install a Peony 2.6mm LED display within the pit garages.

The brief was to deliver a video wall to display mission critical race information at all times, including live video feeds, data, metric analysis and sponsor information. Our unique Common Cathode Technology reduces power consumption by up to 50% and with a lifespan of 100,000 hours, guaranteeing that the Peony 2.6mm display offered sustainability and reliability for the duration of the tour.

Our engineers have just half a day to build the display at each location, and this speed is enabled because the Peony 2.6mm rental wall uses a dedicated truss framing system which allows the tiles to quickly interlock into the desired size and shape, which may vary at different race locations.

“The true scalable nature of LED being configurable to any size or shape with no seams coupled with the ultra fine pixel pitch means that we were able to use the same video wall display within all Pit Garages, ensuring piece of mind for the organisers.”
